Seasonal Cleanups
Spring, summer & fall programs
Scoped visits, not one generic checklist
Seasonal Property Maintenance
A clean-up is a reset: spring clears winter trash and opens beds for growth; summer addresses what got away during hot weeks; fall moves leaves and prepares beds before freeze-thaw cycles heave soil and mulch.
Oak Park’s mature tree canopy means real leaf volume-multiple passes beat one heroic weekend. River Forest lots with tight fence lines and pool decks need blower discipline so debris doesn’t land in neighbors’ spaces.
We define scope in writing: bag vs. tarp vs. vacuum; haul-off vs. on-site compost; gutter touch vs. full clean. “Clean-up” isn’t one SKU-it’s a list we agree on before crews arrive.

Equipment, disposal, and village rules
Leaf volume can exceed yard-waste bag limits-we plan hauls or staging for village pickup windows. Some municipalities restrict blowing times or debris placement; we follow posted rules on your block.
Perennial cutbacks are species-aware: some provide winter interest or wildlife value; others harbor disease if left up. We don’t scalp everything to ground level by default unless that matches your maintenance style.
Spring, summer & fall cleanups for Chicagoland weather
Spring cleanups open beds after winter salt splash and wind desiccation along Oak Park and Forest Park parkways. Summer resets tackle weed flushes after June heat. Fall cleanups balance leaf removal from turf and storm drains with realistic timing, oak leaves often drop late into November along River Forest and Western Springs tree lines.
Whether you found us via ‘fall leaf cleanup near me’ or ‘spring yard cleanup Oak Park,’ we scope visits explicitly: debris targets, haul vs. bag limits, and bed cutbacks appropriate for species, never one vague cleanup bid that hides workload.
Seasonal clean-up FAQs
Fall books fast once color turns-reserve passes if you want multiple leaf rounds.
- Do you take leaves off-site?
- If that’s included in your written scope—otherwise we may use your village bags or designated piles. Hauling is often listed separately in the scope when you want it off-site.
- Is gutter cleaning ladder work?
- Light clearing may be included; steep roofs or three-story work may be referred. We’ll define height limits in writing.
- Can you prune during a clean-up?
- Minor yes; major structural pruning is scoped separately so timing stays correct for plant health.
- What if weather delays the visit?
- We reschedule for safety and quality-wet leaves plaster to turf and stain concrete if rushed wrong.
