Purchased Warranty Option:

Rather than charging our customers the cost of providing a warranty and burying it in the price of the installation, we choose to make this optional to our customers. 

Any customer may purchase our Standard Warranty at the cost of 10% of the price of installation. With this, Hoy will provide the following coverage:

Trees and Shrubs:

Hoy will provide a full one-year warranty: For a period of one year after installation, Hoy will replace, free of charge, any tree or shrub that does not survive. This is good for a one-time replacement, is subject to proper care and watering, and does not cover “acts of God.”

Perennials and Groundcovers:

These items are installed with very shallow root systems and are HIGHLY dependent on proper watering early in their life. As such, Hoy does not fully warrant the cost to replace, however, we will re-plant these items at a one-time 50% discount.

Sod, Seed, and Annuals:

Though we have an excellent success history with these items, Hoy does not offer a warranty replacement on these items.

Special Maintenance Customer Warranty:

Hoy would like to honor our customers who fully commit to us by returning the favor!

If you are a “Full Maintenance Customer” with us, we will unconditionally warrant your new trees and shrubs for a period of five years. Perennials and groundcovers will also be warranted for a period of five years, but at a 50% discount. 

A “Full Maintenance Customer” is someone who, from the day the plant material goes in the ground, utilizes our full slate of services to maintain their landscaping. This includes mowing, bed work, fertilization and weed control, shrub trimming and pruning, spring and fall cleanups, and mulching. This status must be maintained for the duration of the coverage period.
