Dan Norton is the Owner/President
having bought the company in 1992. He is only the 4th owner of
this company since it was founded by Benjamin Hoy in 1918. His
functions include administrative tasks, office supervision, accounting
support, vendor negotiations, and marketing. He still enjoys
meeting with his customers whenever possible, so feel free to
give him a call! |

Brad Crowe is
Shop Foreman and Mechanic. Brad joined our staff in the Spring
of
1999 and is our "behind the scenes" man. He is proving
to be a vital link in our expansion. Keeping the motors hummin'
and the crews on the road would make most men crazy in this business,
but Brad has taken a thankless job and found pride in keeping
a well tuned, organized fleet. Customers will likely never thank
him for his work, but our quality would not be possible without
him! |

Natalie Hollis joined
our staff in 2003. Your pleasant experience with Hoy starts with
her, as she is first voice you’ll hear when you call us.
In addition to answering multiple phones, she assists in a multitude
of daily office tasks and proposal generation. |

Mark Koza has been with
Hoy since the spring of 2002. Mark’s background is in art,
but has spent many years in the landscape industry…including
several years of owning his own landscape company. His art background
gives him a unique perspective on color and proportion in relation
to landscape design, while his practical experience gives him
a realistic approach to meeting your landscape needs in the most
economical way possible. |

Anel Diaz joined us in
2001 and has the tedious task of keeping thousands of Customer’s
databases organized and up to date. She also coordinates all
payroll functions for dozens of employees, as well as billing
and receivables operations. Anel has been a tremendous boost
to our office production, as well as bringing efficiency to a
very busy and demanding office environment. Our production in
the field wouldn’t be possible without her timely organization
skills. |

Jaime Paredes is
our Crew Supervisor. Jaime joined our staff in the Spring
of 1999 and brings with him an abundance of maintenance and crew
leadership. He has proven most helpful in motivating our crews
to new levels of quality. He always has a listening ear for our
customers and is eager to satisfy even the most discriminating
tastes. Customers have reported him to be extremely conscientious
about keeping schedules and following up on promises. He has
been awarded the Certified Landscape Technician status by the
Illinois Landscape Contractors Association – a high achievement
in the landscaping industry. He has also been certified as a
Pesticide Operator by the Illinois Department of Agriculture.
We are proud to have him with us. |

Ward Wilson is senior
statesman of Hoy, having joined the company in 1991. He graduated
from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor’s of Landscape
Architecture and has been specializing in residential landscape
design for over 15 years. A native of the Oak Park area, Ward
has a special fondness for the Prairie School of Design, which
approaches the design from the naturalistic point of view. His
design ideas and projects as a Landscape Architect have been
well received, and his viewpoints are highly valued. We are proud
to have him on staff. |
